Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the

RESOLUTION NO. 79-515
TERMINATING EXISTING JOINT COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF NEW JOINT COOPEARTION AGREEMENT WITH URBAN
HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR THE USE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and the County of Hennepin have joint cooperation
agreement in effect for the use of Federal Community Development Block Grant
funds from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and,

WHEREAS, both parties find it necessary to terminate that agreement and replace
it with a new joint cooperation agreement, County Contract No. 90463, which
is consistent with Federal mandated requirements; and,
WHEREAS, execution of said joint cooperation agreement is necessary for
continued participation in the Federal Community Development Block Grant program
through the Urban Hennepin County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does direct the termination of the current
agreement with the County of Hennepin effective September 30, 1979; and,
FURTHER, that the Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized to execute a
n_.: agreement with the County of Hennepin, County Contract No. 90463 to he
implemented effective October 1, 1979 on behalf of the City.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Davenport , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote to favor thereof: Mayor Hunt. Councilmembers Davenport.
The fol owing voted against or abstained: one .
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
