HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-498CITY OF PLYMOUTH Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79- 498 TEMPORARY SANITARY SEWER SERVICE TO CITY OF MAPLE GROVE OUTLOT T - MAPLE GROVE CENTER 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has received a request from the developer of Outlot T, Maple Grove Center 2nd Addition for a temporary sanitary sewer connection to the City of Maple Grove sanitary sewer system; and WHEREAS, the present sanitary sewer system will not provide service to this property without an extension of the existing system; and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth proposes to make this sanitary sewer extension at some future date NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that a temporary sanitary sewer service to serve Outlot T, Maple Grove Center 2nd Addition by the City of Maple Grove sanitary sewer system would be permitted subject to the following conditions: 1. That the developer agrees to connect to the Plymouth sewer system immediately upon its availability to the site. 2. That the developer would be responsible for constructing the sanitary sewer from Quinwood Lane to the existing Plymouth sanitary sewer system on Hemlock Lane in the event that the City of Maple Grove would not provide the necessary sewer connection to its system. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Davenport , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof—mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, None .
