Coounce meT mb6r—s `Davenport, Hoyt and Neils The following mem ers were a sen ounce Imember Spoeth Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its a opt on: RESOLUTION NO. 79- 462 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID PROJECT NO. 846 RAPPAPORT ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of street and utility improvements for the Rappaport Addition (Project No. 846); and WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractors Northdale Construction Co. Progressive Contractors, Inc. G. L. Contracting Co. C. S. McCrossan, Inc. Nodland Associates, Inc. C. W. Houle, Inc. Total Base Bid Alt. #1 Alt. #2 $269,388.00 $21,600.00 $ 73,800.00 272,888.50 65,700.00 78,300.00 278,552.75 46,800.00 126,000.00 333,265.00 73,800.00 82,800.00 340,001.00 54,000.00 90,000.00 365,252.50 36,000.00 126,000.00 AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Northdale Construction Co. is the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Northdale Construction Co. in the name of the City of Plymouth, for the construction of street and utility improvements for the Rappaport Addition (Project No. 846) in the amount of $269,388.00. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
