Counci member pae Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and move its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-442 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF LANCASTER LANE NORTHERLY FROM 19TH AVE. WHEREAS, a petitio.i was received to vacate a portion of Lancaster Lane northerly from 19th Ave.; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on August 6, 1979 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851, as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of August 6, 1979; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on August 6, 1979 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of Lancaster Lane northerly from 19th Ave.; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that a certain portion of Lancaster Lane is not needed for a public street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. That the following portion of Lancaster Lane be vacated as public roadway: That part of Lancaster Lane between the North line of 19th Avenue and the North line of Lot 16, Block 16, Medicine Lake Park 3rd Division. 2. That said vacation shall not affect the authority of any person, corporation, or municipality owning or controlling electric or telephone poles and lines, gas and sewer lines, or water pipes, mains and hydrants and natural drainage areas thereon or thereunder, to continue maintaining the same or to enter upon such way or portion thereof vacated to repair, replace, remove or otherwise attend thereto.
