Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re liar meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was a on t e 6th day of

Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-437
DECLARING PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A DEED CONVEYING SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing on the proposed vacation
of a portion of 19th Avenue North described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 1, Kreatz Highview Acres
Sixth Addition; thence Northerly along the West line of said addition for
a distance of 30 feet to a point; thence East along the North line of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 29, Township 118, Range 22 to the Northeast
corner of said addition, thence South along the East line of said addition,
a distance of 30 feet to a point; thence West parallel with the North line
of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 29, to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, the City Council has vacated said parcel; and
WHEREAS, the aubtting property owners have conveyed their interest in said
vacated portion of 19th Avenue North to the City of Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, the City has no need for said property; and
WHEREAS, the conveyance of the above described portion of 19th Avenue North
to Anna Karels would eliminate the need to pay severance damages as a result
of easement acquisition for Project 704;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS:
That portion of vacated 19th Avenue North described as follows is hereby
determined to be surplus:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 1 Kreatz Highview Acres
Sixth Addition; thence Northerly along the West line of sa td addition for
a distance of 30 feet to a point; thence East along the North line of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 29, Township 118, Range 22 to the Northeast
corner of said addition; thence South along the East line of said addition,
a distance of 30 feet to a point; thence West parallel with the North line
of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 29, to the point of beginning;
and

2. That the City Manager and Mayor and authorized to execute a deed conveying
said portion of vacated 19th Avenue North to Anna Karels as part of the
consideration for the easement acquisition for Project 704.
