Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, aspecial meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was a on the

Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-418
RESOLUTION APPROVING SHILOH NEIGHBORHOOD PARK DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT,
AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF CONSTRUCTION PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ADVERTISING FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, the 1979 Parks Capital Improvement Program contemplates the develop-
ment of Shiloh Neighborhood Park; and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission and staff have held pub-
lic input meetings to assist in the development of the park; and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission and staff recommend the
development of the Shiloh Park site as proposed in the staff report dated July 20;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1) That the concept plan prepared for Shiloh Neighborhood Park dated July 20,
1979 be approved;
2) That the consultants be authorized to prepare the construction plans and
specifications;
3) That the City Manager and staff be authorized to advertise and receive bids
for the construction of Shiloh Neighborhood Park; and
4) That the consultant's contract be revised to accommodate a fee not to exceed
$300 for additional graphics and to appropriate said funds from the Neighbor-
hood Parks Account to the Construction Account 401-401-810-930.
