RESOLUTION No. 2009-300
A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE PURCHASE OF ONE NEW CURRENT MODEL
75' HEAVY DUTY AERIAL LADDER FIRE TRUCK
WHEREAS, City staff had approval to prepare specifications and solicit bids for a 75'
heavy duty aerial ladder fire trick; and
WHEREAS, advertisement for bids were published in the Sun Sailor on November 5 and
12, 2009; and
WHEREAS, two bids were received, opened and read aloud on November 23, 2009 at
10:00 a.m., and
WHEREAS, Pierce Manufacturing, Inc. met all specifications and was the lowest bidder
for $676,503 including all selected alternates (additions and deductions).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that they approve the purchase of one new
current model 75' heavy duty aerial ladder fire trick from Pierce Manufacturing, Inc. for a
delivered price of $676,503.
