HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-400Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a ul r meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnespta was held on the 16th day of July , 19 79 , The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Council embers Davenport Hoyt Nils and Spaeth The following members were absent: None Councilmember Spaeth- introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79- 400 INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS WHEREAS, in order to provide for the orderly movement of traffic and provide for the safety of the public, it is recommended that stop signs be placed at certain locations; WHEREAS, 34th Ave. in the Amber Woods Plat is designated as a collector street, ultimately planned to connect to T.H. 101 and a proposed north -south collector street in the City of Medina; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that stop signs be installed at the following locations: Urbandale Lane at 34th Avenue (north and south bound traffic) Vagabond Place at 34th Avenue (north bound traffic) Walnut Grove Lane at 34th Avenue (north bound traffic) The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by* —C_ ler NCJ13 , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers Davenport —Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared d,uly7—passed and a1dopted.
