HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-388CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the I 16th day of July , 1979 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth The following members were absent: None Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its a option: RESOLUTION NO. 79-388 AMENDING POLICY RESOLUTION NO. 78-309 RELATIVE TO REVIEW OF MUNICIPAL INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BOND REQUESTS WHEREAS, in accordance with Council direction, staff did prepare a report dated July 11, 1979 recommending an amendment to the Policy Concerning Review of Municipal Industrial Development Revenue Bond Requests dated May 22, 1978; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does direct the amendment of Policy Resolution No. 78-309 by deleting the provisions of Paragraph 8 as contained in the May 22, 1978 policy and inserting the following: 8. If the application for financing is reviewed prior to the time the City considers preliminary land use recommendations with respect to zoning, site plan and public -utilities, the applicant is advised that such financing reviews are not connected in any way with subsequent requests for land use approvals. The City Council will consider the financial application and the subsequent land use requests independent of one another and the favorable finding in one instance shall not obligate or indicate subsequent findings will be favorable. In any event, applicants shall indicate their intention to apply for industrial development revenue bond financing not later than at the time of application for final site plan approval. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by' Councilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: M_ayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
