moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-386
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 79-325
WHEREAS, the City Council did on the 18th day of June, 1979, adopt Resolution
No. 79-325 Authorizing Staff to Explore Supplement to Joint Power Agreement
for the Installation of Playground Apparatus at the Wayzata School District
Administration Site; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reconsidered their action because they have
determined the site is inappropriately located to serve the majority of the
population in the area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that:
1. Resolution No. 79-325, adopted by the City Council on June 18, 1979,
Authorizing Staff to Explore Supplement to Joint Powers Agreement
for the Installation of Playground Apparatus at the Wayzata School
District Administration Site is hereby rescinded.
2. Staff shall reevaluate the needs for neighborhood parks in the area
and return to Council with a recommendation for an appropriate site.
