HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-375Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a s ecial meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of July 19 79. The following members were present: Acting MayorSpaeth, Councilmembers Davenport Hoyt -and Nils The following members were a sen : Mayor Hunt Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79- 375 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF PERIPHERAL ROAD NORTH OF COUNTY NO. 15 WHER!AS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Carlson Properties, Inc. has petitioned the City Coun-.il for a vacation of the following street: All that part of Peripheral Road north of ;-he north line of County Road No. 15 and South of previously vacated Peripheral Road which was vacated by Resolution No. 79-149, AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said Petition and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of August 6. 1:'79 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the Public Hearing on said Petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said Hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by' Councilmember Hoyt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote infavor t ereo cting Mayor Spaeth, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt and Neils The following voted against or abstained: Nont Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly; passed and adopted.
