The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth The following members were absent: None w** Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and movedits�tion: RESOLUTION NO. 79-339 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT NO. 906 AND 919 AMERIKS 1ST ADDITION - MEDICINE RIDGE ADDITION IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions adopted by the City Council on December 18, 1978 and April 16, 1979, the Consulting Engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the Ameriks 1st Addition and Medicine Ridge Addition Improvements; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvemenc under such approved plans and specifi- cations. The advertiement shall be published for three days; shall specify the work to be done; shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 1979, at which time they will be publicly opened in t' Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota by the City Manager, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor t ereo ayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth Whereupon t voted against or abstained: None Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
