the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota wasal a on the
75th day of June 19 79 . The following members were
present: M_ avor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth
The following memaers were absent: None
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-336
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
PROJECT NO. 908
MEDINA ROAD STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Medina
Road Street Improvements (Project No. 908); and
WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Matt Bullock Contracting Co. 164,970.00
Park Construction Co. 194,750.00
Progressive Contractors, Inc. 210,853.00
C. S. McCrossan, Inc. 215,345.00
Hardrives, Inc. 223,275.00
AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Jerome Begin Contracting is the lowest responsible
bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
the attached contract with Jerome Begin Contracting of Plymouth,
Minnesota, in the name of the City of Plymouth, for the construction of
the Medina Road Street Improvements (Project No. 908) in the amount of
$149,900.00.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits
of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by'
Councilmember Neils and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: ayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport,
Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
