RESOLUTION NO. 79-319
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
PROJECT NO. 707, 914, 921 AND 922
SEVEN PONDS AREA, 16TH AVE., QUEENSLAND LN./HADLEY PL., HWY. 101 WATERMAIN
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of Seven
Ponds Area, 16th Ave., Queensland Ln./Hadley P1., and Hwy. 101 Watermain (Project
707, 914, 921 and 922); and
WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Nodland Associates, Inc. $399,063.80
Northdale Construction Co. 452,637.00
Progressive Contractors, Inc. 486,440.50
G. L. Contracting, Inc. 487,548.00
AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Nodland Associates, Inc. is the lowest responsible
bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
the attached contract with Nodland Associates, Inc. of Alexandria,
Minnesota, in the name of the City of Plymouth, for the construction of
Seven Ponds Area, 16th Ave., Queensland Ln./Hadley Pl., Highway 101
Watermain (Project No. 707, 914, 921 and 922) in the amount of
$399,063.80.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits
of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until a contract has been signed.
