Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth,Minnesota was held on the
18th day of June , 1979 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers Daven ort Hot Neils and Spaeth
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION #79-318
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR OUTSIDE STORAGE AND AMENDED SITE PLAN FOR
A.Y. MAC DONALD MANUFACTURING COMPANY AT 13415 WATER TOWER CIRCLE (79020)
WHEREAS, A.Y. MacDonald Manufacturing Company has requested approval of a Conditional
Use Permit to allow outside storage in the industrial district and of amended Site
Plan including the construction of a loading dock and ramp at 13415 Water Tower Circle;
and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called Public
Hearing including review of an amended landscape plan for the site and has recommended
approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by A.Y. MacDonald
Manufacturing Company for a Conditional Use Permit to allow outside storage and for
approval of an amended Site and Landscape Plan subject to the following conditions:
1. No manufacturing on the site.
2. All outside storage shall be within the approved area, shall not ex:eed
5 -feet in heighth, and there shall be no storage of materials or equipment
on the loading dock other than during business hours.
3. Trash disposal facilities shall be within the building.
4. A financial guarantee ensuring completion of the approved landscapin(, and
screening shall be submitted and termed for twenty-four (24) months.
5. The permit is issued to the petitioner and is not transferable.
6. Permit is subject to all applicable codes, ordinances and regulations and
violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation.
7. Plant six (6) Black Spruce (planting #4) in libu of the five (5) Lilac
plantings, and in lieu of the three (3) Pfitzer plantings at the northeast
corner; add four (4) Black Spruce at the west end of the north yard; and
add four (4) Black Spruce to the north end of the west yard.
8. The outside storage area shall not be roofed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
ouncil , and upon vote being taken thereon. the
