HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-294CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of May 19 79 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt,Councilmembers Hoyt, NeiTs and Spaeth The following members were absent: Councilmember Se15o —Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-294 DECLARING THE COUNCIL SEAT OF COUNCILMEMBER SEIBOLD TO BE VACANT WHEREAS, Mary Seibold, a member of the City Council, has submitted his resignation to the Mayor and Council, which resignation is effective at the close of regular business of the meeting of May 21, 1979; and WHEREAS, Councilmember Seibold's term of office expires on December 31, 1979; and WHEREAS, by virtue of such resignation it will be necessary for the seat of Councilmember Seibold to be filled for the remainder of such unexpired term; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Council seat of Mary Seibold is hereby declared to be vacant. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt. Councilmembers Hoyt. Neils and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
