HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-286Cily OF PLYMOIJIIi Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 21st day of May , 1979 . The following members were present: _. ayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Seibold, Spaeth and Neils were RRR RAR Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-286 AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS PROJECT NO. 806 PINEVIEW LANE UTILITY AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS FROM 49TH STREET TO COUNTY ROAD 47 RRR WhEREAS, the City has undertaken Project No. 806, Pineview Lane Improvements which include streets and utilities; and WHEREAS, in order to construct the improvements certain permanent and temporary easements are required; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary, proper and expedient in the interest of the public health, convenience and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Plymouth for the City to acquire said easements; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the City Attorney is hereby authorized to commence condemnation proceedings for Project No. 806 for the following described easements over the following described parcels: 1. DESCRIPTION OF PARCEL: The North 10 acres of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 3, Township 118, Range 22. DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENTS: A permanent easement for street and utility purposes over, under, across and through the East 33 feet of the above-described parcel; and A temporary construction easement over, under, across and through the West 26 feet of the East 59 feet of the above-described parcel. Said temporary construction easement shall expire on December 31, 1980 or upon completion of construction, whichever occurs first. 2. DESCRIPTION OF PARCEL: The South 10 acres of the North 20 acres of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 3, Township 118, Range 22. Resolution # 79-286 Page 2 2. (Continued) DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENTS: A permanent easement for street and utility purposes over, under, across and through the East 33 feet of the above-described parcel; and A temporary easement for construction purposes over, under, across and through the West 7 feet of the East 40 feet of the above-described parcel of land. Said temporary construction easement to expire on December 31, 1980 or upon completion of construction, whichever occurs first.
