RESOLUTION NO. 79-281
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
PROJECT NO. 801
VICKSBURG LANE - CO. RD. 9 TO CO. RD. 49
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Vicksburg Lane - County Road
No. 9 to County Road No. 47 (Project No. 801), and
WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Jerome Begin Contracting $605,509.40
C. S. McCrossan, Inc. 679,463.15
Hardrives, Inc. 679,862.85
Progressive Contractors, Inc. 699,182.55
AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Jerome Begin Contracting Co. is the lowest responsible
bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
the attached contract, after concurrence is received from the Minnesota
Department of Transportation, with Jerome Begin Contracting Co. of
Plymouth, Minnesota, in the name of the City of Plymouth, for the
construction of Vicksburg Lane - County Road No. 9 to County Road No. 47
(Project No. 801) in the amount of 5605,509.40.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits
of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vot in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils,
Seibold and Soaeth
