Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were a sen : None Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Pesolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-278 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID PROJECT NO. 807, 911 AND 847 DOWNTOWN PLYMOUTH STREET IMPROVEMENTS - CONTRACT I WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Downtown Plymouth Street Improvements - Contract I (Project No. 807, 911 and 847); and WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Company Total Bid C. S. McCrossan, Inc. $911,114.70 Hardrives, Inc. 911,403.45 Progressive Contractor.. Inc. 922,462.70 Buffalo Bituminous 956,216.95 AND, WHEREAS it appears that C. S. McCrossan, Inc, is the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and. Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract, after concurrence is received from the Minnesota Department of Transportation,with C. S. McCrossan, Inc. of Osseo, Minnesota, in the name of the City of Plymouth, for the construction of Downtown Plymouth Street Improvements - Contract I (Project No. 807, 911 and 847 in the amount of $911,114.70. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
