Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on t e
21st day of May , 1979 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt. Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 79-272
REGUIDING PROPERTY AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF I-494 AND COUNTY ROAD 9 FROM I -P
(PLANNED INDUSTRIAL) TO C -L (LIMITED BUSINESS) 79025
WHEREAS Hewitt Peterson and Rembrandt Enterprises, Inc. have requested reguiding
of the property at the northwest corner of I-494 and County Rd. 9 from I -P to
C -L in conjunction with a request for approval:of rezoning and preliminary plat
of said property; and
WHEREAS the Planning Commission and City Council have determined, based upon
analysis of the Land Use Guide Plan and the physical constraints of the property,
that said reguiding is in order; and
WHEREAS the Planning Commission at a duly called public hearing has considered the
request and has recommended approval;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, that it should and hereby does approve the amendment of the Land Use
Guide Plan to indicate the reguiding of the propert at the northwest corner of
I-494 and County Rd. 9 from I -P (planned industrial to C -L (limited business)
in consideration of the physical constraints analysis of this property and in
consideration of the access and buffering characteristics of this site.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ho t and upon vote being taken thereon, the
' o ow ng voted in favor thereof, Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils,
Seibold and Spaeth
