Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth,Min ota was heTd on the
7th day of May 1979 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers Hot Seibold and Spaeth
The following members were absent: Councilmembers Neils
Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION #79-266
RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS SUBMITTED FOR SHELTERS FOR NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS
WHEREAS, Staff's recommendation for shelters does not reflect Council's ideal
of an adequate neighborhood shelter; and,
WHEREAS, additional research is needed to identify a more permanent shelter
structure for neighborhood parks;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that
1. Staff be directed to research local, state and federal park shelters
and propose an alternate design for a shelter which will reflect a
more permanent structure with low maintenance costs.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Counci m , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote to favor thereo ; Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt. SPihQj
and Spaeth
