HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-254CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the ' 7th day of May , 19 79 . The following members were present: mbe rs Hoyt, Seibold and Spaeth The following t,em ers were a sen : Councilmemher Neils Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79- 254 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - KINGSWOOD FARM ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the Centurion Company requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Kingswood Farm Addition; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Kingswood Farm Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on May 7, 1979, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to :".he Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a prelimina-y way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether i' should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by* Qqunqilmemberand upon vote being taken thereon, the to ow ng vote in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Seibold and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
