Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
16th day of April 19 79. The following members were
present:Mayor--Hunt Councilmen ers Hoyt;Neils and Spaeth
The following me ers were absent: Councilmember belbold
Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79_227
AUTHORIZING REQUEST FOR PAYMENT
GENERAL CONTRACTOR - CITY HALL
PROJECT NO. 615
WHEREAS, Request for Payment No. 16, dated March 31, 1979, for the general
contractor for the City Hall building project has been prepared by Thorsen &
Thorshov Associates, Inc. and payment is recommended:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the Finance Department is authorized to make payment on request
for Payment No. 16 in the amount of $20,300.00 to H. P. Droher & Sons, Inc. for
City Hall Building Project No. 615.

moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 79-247
APPROVING HOME OCCUPATION CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR CHINESE COOKING CLASSES
FOR MS. LING HSIU YANG AT 2420 OLIVE LANE (79019)
WHEREAS Ms. Ling Hsiu Yang has requested a conditional use permit for a home
occupation involving Chinese cooking classes at 2420 Olive Lane N.; and
WHEREAS at a duly called public hearing the Planning Commission reviewed the
request and has recommended approval;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, that it should and hereby does approve the conditional use permit
for a home occupation involving Chinese cooking classes for Ms. Ling Hsiu Yang
at 2420 Olive Lane N. subject to the following conditions:
1. The conditional use permit is issued to the petitioner as operator and
is non-transferrable;
2. The conditional use permit is subject to all applicable codes, ordinances,
and regulations and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation;
3. No signs related to the use are permitted;
4. Permit is limited to a maximum of 4 teaching sessions per week as
requested;
5. All parking related to the use shall be off street;
6. The permit shall be for a one year period.
7. Excessive traffic and noise shall not be allowed.
