the City Council of the City of Plyraciith, Minnesot was7e--id on the

Councilinember Seibold introduced the fo'lowing Pe.:nlution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79- 225
RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS FOR
JUNEAU LANE NORTH OF CO. NO. 9
PROJECT NO. 920
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted June 5, 1978, a report
has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. with respect
to the improvement of the Turtle Lake Area with sanitary sewer trunk facilities,
including trunk water service on County Road 9 and lateral sewer, water and
street improvements along Juneau Lane to serve the existing developed area; and
WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on January 8, 1979;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such sanitary sewer, water -
main, storm sewer and street construction in accordance with the report
and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost
of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111
(Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $936,165.00.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 21st
day of May, 1979 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center
at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall dive mailed
and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.

RESOLUTION N0. 79-245
REJECTING BIDS FOR SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM FOR CITY CENTER
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth took bids on April 19, 1979 pursuant to a
project proposal providing for a solar energy system at the Plymouth City
Center, and
WHEREAS, this proposed joint demonstration project between the City of
Plymouth and the U.S. Department of Energy (Cooperative Agreement No.
ET -78-F-02-5041) was estimated to cost not more than $165,769.00, and
WHEREAS, bids were received and tabulated from the following vendors:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that following consideration of the bids accepted for the
City's solar energy demonstration project, as received April 19, 1978, are
substantially beyond that amount which was budgeted and anticipated, that
the City Council hereby rejects all the bids and further directs the security
deposits to be returned to the bidders.
