RESOLUTION NO. 79-224
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
TURTLE LAKE AREA - PROJECT NO. 920
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 79-13 of the City Council, adopted the 8th day of January,
1979, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to utility and street
improvements in the Turtle Lake Area; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of sanitary sewer trunk
facilities, trunk water service on County Road 9 and lateral sewer, water and
street improvements along Juneau Lane, Kingsview Lane and 43rd Ave. to serve the
existing developed area; and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications
of the required notice was qiven and the hearing was held thereon the 20th day
of February, 1979, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution
adopted January 8, 1979, including the following and excepting street
improvements on 43rd Avenue:
a. The east and west trunk sanitary sewer to Points "C" and "F" as
outlined in the report.
b. Trunk watermain along County Road 9 from Glacier Lane to Vicksburg
Lane.
c. Lateral sanitary sewer and watermain along Kingsview Lane, 43rd Ave.
and Juneau Lane as outlined in the report.
d, Thirty-two foot wide bituminous paving with concrete curb and gutter
on. Juneau Lane from Co. No. 9 to Point "F" of the trunk sanitary
sewer and Kingsview Lane in the Gordon's Oakwood Hills Addition.
2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates is hereby designated as engineer
for the improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the
making of such improvement.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Council member Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor t ere- : Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt. Neils,
Seibold and Spaeth
The following vc+.pd against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79- 244
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 79-190
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 79-190 May 4, 1979 was set as the date to
receive bids on Project No. 905, 909, 702 and 812; and
WHEREAS, modifications were needed in the plans for Project 905 because of
Minnesota Department of Transportation approval of the relocation of the traffic
signal system;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the date for receiving bids is changed to 10:30 A.M. on May 15,
1979.
