Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was Fe-ld on the 16th day of
April , 1979 . The following members were present:
Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt. Neils and Spaeth
Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved
its tion:
RESOLUTION NO. 79- 218
AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS
PROJECT NO. 829, RIDGECREST ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City has undertaken Project No. 829, Ridgecrest Addition Improvement,
which includes street, sanitary sewer and watermain improvements; and
WHEREAS, in order to construct the improvements, certain permanent and temporary
easements are required, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary, proper and expedient in the interest
of the public health, convenience and general welfare of the citizens of the City
of Plymouth, for the City to acquire said easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the City Attorney is hereby authorized to commence condemnation
proceedings for Project No. 829 for the following described easements over the
following described parcel:
Description of Parcel:
That part of the south 200 feet of the south 15 acres of
the north 20 acres of Government Lot 2, in Section 24,
Township 118, Range 22, to wit: beginning at the south-
east corner of the north 20 acres of said Government Lot
2, Section 24, Township 118, Range 22, thence west a
distance of 943.8 feet to a point, thence north and
parallel to the east line of said Government Lot 2, a
distance of 200 feet; thence east 943.8 feet more or less
to the east line of said Government Lot 2; thence south
along the east line of said Government Lot 2 to the point
of beginning.

VDescription of Easements:
A permanent easement for utility purposes over, under
across and through that portion of the above described
parcel described below: commencing at the northeast
corner of Lot 15, Block 4, Timber Creek, thence northerly
along the west line of the Stensrud Addition for a distance
of 15 feet; thence westerly parallel to the north line of
the Timber Creek Addition for a distance of 180 feet,thence
southerly parallel to the west line of the Stensrud Addition
to the north line of the Timber Creek Addition, thence
easterly to the point of beginning; and
A temporary construction easement lying over, under, across
and through that portion of the above described parcel
described as follows: commencing at the northeast corner
of Lot 15, Block 4, Timber Creek, thence northerly along the
west line of the Stensrud Addition for a distance of 50 feet;
thence westerly parallel to the north line of the Timber
Creek Addition for a distance of 180 feet; thence southerly
parallel to the west line of the Stensrud Addition to the
north line of the Timber Creek Addition; thence easterly to
the point of beginning; and
A permanent easement for street and utility purposes over,
so under, across and through a strip of land 60 feet wide,
30 feet on either side of that portion of the below
described line which is contained within the above parcel:
commencing at a point on the west line of the Stensrud
Addition 30 feet north of the northwest corner of Lot 1,
Block 2, Stensrud Addition, thence westerly along the
extension of the center line of 31st Avenue for a distance
of 109.96 feet to a point of curvature thence deflecting
to the southwest along a tangential curve having a radius
of 100 feet and a central angle of 90 degrees 01' and 28"
to a point of tangency, thence southerly parallel to the
west line of the Timber Creek Addition and there terminating.
