HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-208CITY OF PLYMDUIN Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ularr meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on tYe 16th day of April , 19 79. The following members were present: —Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth were absent: None— ,ger Councilmember S aeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION #79-208 APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR PLAYHOUSE INDUSTRIAL PARK'S SECOND ADDITION FOR VOLP CONSTRUCTION CO. AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF RANCHVIEW LANE AND STATE HIGH- WAY 55 (A-571) WHEREAS, Volp Construction Co. has requested approval of the preliminary plat for six industrial lots on approximately 23 acres at the southeast corner of Ranchview Lane and State Highway 55; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at a duly called hearing has considered the request and recommended approval; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the preliminary plat for Volp Construction Co, for Playhouse Industrial Park's Second Addition consisting of six industrial lots at the southeast corner of Ranchview Lane and State Highway 55 subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with the City Engineer's memorandum for this project; 2. Provision of all storm drainage and utility easements prior to filing a final plat; 3. Access to Ranchview Lane shall be limited to proposed lot one, the access for which shall be located as far as possible to the south of the intersection of State Highway 55 and Ranchview Lane; proposed lots two and six shall access from the proposed cul-de-sac; access to proposed lot four from Niagara Lane shall be limited and located as far south as possible from the intersection of Niagara Lane and State High- way 55; 4. Street name designation of the proposed cul-de-sac shall be per street naming policy (aligned with 30th Ave. N) The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember N it , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote to Tayor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembprs Hngvt_ Neils Seibold and S aeth , Thi-f7o lowing voted against or a stAine ; None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
