HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-200CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the . 16th day of April , 19 79. The followinq members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmemhers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth The following members were absent: Counclmember efbold Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-200 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS MEDICINE RIDGE ADDITION PROJECT NO. 919 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 79-155 of the City Council, adopted the 19th day of March, 1979, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to utility and street improvements in the Medicine Ridge Addition and adjacent area; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of sanitary sewer, water - main, storm sewer, bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 16th day . of April, 1979, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered Rs pruposed in the Council Resolution adopted March 10, 1-979, including the following streets: a. 28th Ave. from Pilgrim Lane to Quaker Lane. b. 27uAve. and 28th Ave. cul-de-sacs west of Pilgrim Lane. Pilgrim Lane from 26th Ave. to Timber Creek Addition. d. Existing Pilgrim Lane easterly from East Medicine Lake Blvd. 2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates is hereby designated as engineer for the improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifi- cations for the making of sura improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils, and Spaeth The wing voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
