Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was he —on

present: Major Hunt, CouncilmemFers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth
The following members were absent: Counci Imember Selbold
Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its a option:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-192
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PROJECT NO. 812 - WELL 40. 5 PUMP AND MOTOR
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the City Council on June 12, 1978,
the consulti.ig engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik 8 Associates, Inc. has
prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of Well No. 5 Pump and Motor
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
• paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifica-
tions. The advertisement shall be published for ten days before the bid
opening, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will
be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m, on Monday, April 16, 1979,
at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Center Building
at 3400 Plymouth Blvd., Plymouth, Minnesota by the City Manager, and
that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City
Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or
certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount
of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
. Councilmember Spaeth , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in avor ereo : Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils
and Sheth

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
