The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Counciln�embers Hoyt . eils and Spaeth The following members were a Sent: Councilmember seibola Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-191 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICA"IONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOk BIDS PROJECT NO. 801 VICKSBURG LANE FROM CO. RD. 9 TO CO. RD. 47 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions adopted by the City Council on August 28, 1978, the consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik 8 Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the improvements to Vicksburg Lane from Co. Rd. 9 to Co. Rd. 47 by the installation of a major thoroughfare road to interim rural section, necessary drainage facilities and all necessary appurtenances; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 1. The City Clerk shall preapare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days; shall specify the work to be done; shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10: a.m. on Friday, May 4, 1979, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota by the City Manager, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Spaeth , and upon vote being taken thereon, the To -Mo -wing voted in favor ereo : Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth ine toitawtng voted against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared dulyl
