The following members were present: h; or for Huntem, ouncilmers Hut, Neils and Spaeth Ii�e % 1cwi'nA members were sent: WunciTmem er Seibold RRR RRA Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its tion: RESOLUTION NO. 79-190 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT NO. 905, 909, 702 AND 812 FERNBROOK LANE SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 55 26TH AVE. - ANNAPOLIS TO YUCCA LANE 23RD AVE. WEST OF FERNBROOK LANE WELL NO. 5 WATERMAIN AAA WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions adopted by the City Council on December 18, 1978, the consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for Fernbrook Lane from County Road 6 to Highway 55, the extension of Cheshire Lane southerly to 25th Ave. and the improvement of existing Cheshire Lane by the installation of a 9 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter and including full grading, gravel base, bituminous surface, all necessary drainage facilities, sanitary sewer, watermain and all necessary appurtenances (Project 905); and WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions adopted by the City Council on November 6, 1978, the consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifirations for improvements in 26th Avenue - Annapolis to Yucca Lane by the construction of sanitary sewer, watermains, streets, storm sewer and necessary appurtenances (Project 909); and WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions adopted by the City Council on April 2, 1979, the consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and spe=ifications for the improvement of 23rd Ave. from 700 feet east of Niagara Lane to a point approximately 1200 feet east thereof or to Fernbrook Lane by the installation of 9 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, water -main and all necessary appurtenances (Project 702); and WHEREAS, pursiant to a resolution passed by the City Council on June 12, 1978, the consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the water Rain connection for Well No. 5 (Project 812); Do Resolution 1 79-190 Page 2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare ind cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days; shall specify the work to be done; shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 4, 1979, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota by the City Manager, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
