HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-189CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetino of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, ciinnesota was held on the 2nd day of April , 19 79. The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmecrers Aovt,—Neils and Spaeth The following members were absent: Councilmember Seibold Councilmember Hoyt introd•iced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-189 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS SHEDD BROWN/HONEYWELL STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT 916 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted January 8, 1979 a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik 8 Associates, Inc. with respect to utility and street improvements for the Shedd Brown/Honeywell property and adjacent property, and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on April 2, 1979 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvements in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $256,400. 2. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 16th day of April, 1979, in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Blvd. at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Spaeth 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth rhe following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
