HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-176CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetina of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, tlinnesota was held on the 2nd day of April , 19 79. The following_ members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth The following members :sere absent: Councilmember Seibold Cocilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and mun ove its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-176 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS RAPPAPORT ADDITION AND ADJACENT AREA PROJECT NO. 846 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 79-131 of the City Council, adopted the 5th day of March, 1979, fixed a date for a public hearing on the improvement of the Rappaport plat and adjacent area as follows: 30th Avenue, Larch Lane and Magnolia Lane east of West Medicine Lake Road by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, 7 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, widening of West Medicine Lake Road and trail grading adjacent to the Rappaport plat, and all necessary appurtenances, and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publi- cations of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 2nd day of April, 1979, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution adopted March 5, 1979. 2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates is hereby designated as engineer for the improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. 3. Any additional quantities for filling of the roadway over a normal residential street shall be prepared by the engineer for City Council review with the final plans. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor t Fereo : Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and S aeth The fo lowing voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
