HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-175CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the . 2nd day of April , 1979 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth The following members were absent: Councilmember Seibold Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-175 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS 23RD AVENUE WEST OF FERNBROOK LANE PROJECT NO. 702 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 79-140 of the City Council, adopted the 5th day of March, 1979, fixed a date for a public hearing on the improvement of 23rd Avenue from 700 feet east of Niagara Lane to a point approximately 1200 feet east thereof or to Fernbrook Lane by the installation of 9 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, watermain and all necessary appurtenances, and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 2nd day of April, 1979, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution adopted March 5, 1979. 2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates is hereby designated as engineer for the improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifi- cations for the making of such improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hoyt 'and upon Vote being taken thereon, the follow ng voted in favor thereof'.
