Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regul.ar meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was a on t e 19th day of

its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-162
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1979 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the Council as follows:
I. Project No. 803 & 815 - Lancaster Lane Street Overlay and Turn Lanes
Resolution No. 78-492; August 14, 1978
2. Project No. 804-001 - Fernbrook Lane Area
Resolution No. 78-357; June 19, 1978

the City's consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. has
prepared plans and specifications for the following street improvements:
1. Project No. 803 & 815 - Lancaster Lane Street Overlay and Turn Lane
Lancaster Lane from 36th Ave. to Co. No. 9
2. Project No. 804-001 - Fernbrook Lane Area
Glacier Lane north of Co. Rd. 9; 35th and 40th Avenues east of Fernbrook Lane
3. Project 809 - Pike Lake Area

Lane north of Co. Rd. 10; Goldenrod Lane from 61st Ave. to dead end
south of 60th Ave.; 61st Ave. and 60th Ave. east of Hemlock Lane

Lane from 40th Ave. to 40th Place; and Revere Lane from 40th Ave. to 39th Ave. -

7. Project No. 829 - Ridgecrest Addition Area
Quaker Lane from 28th Ave. to 31st Ave.; Orleans Lane from 28th Ave. to south
line of Tiburon Addition; 31st Ave. west of Quaker Lane; 30th Ave. from
Quaker Lane to Orleans Lane and 29th Ave. from Quaker Lane to east line of
Ridgecrest Addition
and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and casue to be inserted in the official paper
and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making
of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to
be done, shall state that bids will be received by the Clerk until 10:00 a.m.,
Wednesday, April 18, 1979, at which time they will be publicly opened in the
Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Blvd., Plymouth, Minnesota, by the
City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed
with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond
or certified check payable to the Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount
of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Cpuncilmember Seibold . and upon vote being taken thereon, the
