Council mb r Ho t _Seibold and Spaeth The of owing members were sent: Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-162 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 1979 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the Council as follows: I. Project No. 803 & 815 - Lancaster Lane Street Overlay and Turn Lanes Resolution No. 78-492; August 14, 1978 2. Project No. 804-001 - Fernbrook Lane Area Resolution No. 78-357; June 19, 1978 so3. Project No. 809 - Pike Lake Area Resolution No. 780-430; July 17, 1978 4. Project No. 811 - Lost Lake Area Resolution No. 78-196; April 17, 1978 5. Protect No. 813 - Oakview Lane Re:,olution No. 78-106; March 6, 1978 6. ',roject No. 816 - 13th Avenue Street Overlay Resolution No. 78-493; August 14, 1978 7. Project No. 829 - Ridgecrest Addition Area Resolution No. 78-247; May 1, 1978 the City's consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the following street improvements: 1. Project No. 803 & 815 - Lancaster Lane Street Overlay and Turn Lane Lancaster Lane from 36th Ave. to Co. No. 9 2. Project No. 804-001 - Fernbrook Lane Area Glacier Lane north of Co. Rd. 9; 35th and 40th Avenues east of Fernbrook Lane 3. Project 809 - Pike Lake Area IDSouth Lane north of Co. Rd. 10; Goldenrod Lane from 61st Ave. to dead end south of 60th Ave.; 61st Ave. and 60th Ave. east of Hemlock Lane Resolution i 79-162 Page 2 4. Project No. 811 - Lost Lake Area Revere Lane from County No. 9 to 40th Ave.; Trenton Lane from 150 feet north of 41st Ave. to 40th Ave.; Saratoga Circle north of 40th Ave.; 41st Ave. from Revere Lane to Trenton Lane; 40th Ave. from Pevere Lane to Ximines Lane; Ximines Lane from 40th Ave. to 40th Place; and Revere Lane from 40th Ave. to 39th Ave. - bicycle path only 5. Project No. 813 - Oakview Lane Oakview Lane north of T. H. 55 6. project No. 816 - 13th Ave. Street Overlay 13th Ave. from Co. No. 18 to South Shore Drive 7. Project No. 829 - Ridgecrest Addition Area Quaker Lane from 28th Ave. to 31st Ave.; Orleans Lane from 28th Ave. to south line of Tiburon Addition; 31st Ave. west of Quaker Lane; 30th Ave. from Quaker Lane to Orleans Lane and 29th Ave. from Quaker Lane to east line of Ridgecrest Addition and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and casue to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the Clerk until 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 18, 1979, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Blvd., Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid.
