HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-159CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 19th day of March , 19 79. The following members were present: _Mayor Hunt. Councilmembers Hoyt Seibold and Spaeth The following members were a sent: Councilmember Neils Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-159 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT NO. 853 AND 911 VICKSBURG LANE AND NEW COUNTY NO. 9 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions adopted by the City Council on August 28, 1978 and February 12, 1979, the consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for street improvements on Vicksburg Lane from Highway 55 to existing County No. 9 and New County No. 9 from Vicksburg Lane to existing County No. 9; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days; shall specify the work to be done; shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 20, 1979, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota by the City Manager, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
