HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-155CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetinn_ of . the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 19th day of March 1979 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-155 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS MEDICINE RIDGE ADDITION PROJECT 919 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted January 8, 1979 a report as been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. with respect to utility and street improvements in the Medicine Ridge Addition and adjacent property, and; WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter and all necessary appurtenances, and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on March 19, 1979 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvements in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $407,340.00. 2. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvment on the 16th day of April, 1979, in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Blvd. at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmember Mayor Hunt.
