Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
Sth day of March , 19 79. The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth
The following members were absent: Councilmember Seibold
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-139
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXTENSION OF MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE PLYMOUTH HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION AND THE
MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RIGHTS
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 77-693 adopted by the City Council on November 12,
1977, authorized the execution of a memorandum of agreement between the
Plymouth Human Rights Commission and the Minnesota Department of Human
Rights, and
WHEREAS, since that time both agencies have been working to implement
the agreement, and
WHEREAS, implementation of this agreement is proceeding but is not yet com-
plete;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that is should and hereby does authorize the exten-
sion of the memorandum of agreement between the Plymouth Human Rights
Commission and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights for such a period
as necessary to complete the purpose of the memorandum of agreement.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councl member Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote n favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt.
