HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-106CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting o= . the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of February , 19 79. The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Seibold The following members were absent: Councilmember Spaeth Counci I member Seib 1 ' introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79- 106 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 718 - TIMBER CREEK PLAT 43740 PARCEL 1503 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 5, 1978, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the following improvements: Lots 7 and 36, parcel 1553; Lot 8, parcel 1700, Lot 9, parcel 1900, Auditors Subdivision 333, Plat 43740, (proposed Timber Creek Addition), by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, streets and concrete curb and gutter, and storm drainage facilities including the completion of Pilgrim Lane (platted) as it abuts said property, AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 19th day of March, 1979, in the City Council Chamber of the Citv Center Building, 3400 Plymouth Blvd., Plymouth, Minne- sotA, at 7:30 p.m. co pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time a.,j place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coy c�i)m m Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following, voted in favor efi reef: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt Neils ine m lowing voted against or abstained: NonE Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pass
