HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-094CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meetino of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 12th day of February , 19 79. The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt an—c Spaeth The following members were a sent: Councilmembers Neils and ei o Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79- 94 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID PROJECT NO. 902 - NORTHWEST INTERCEPTOR SEWER WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Northwest Interceptor Sewer (Project No. 902), and WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Company Total Bid Northdale Construction Co. $336,612.00 C. W. Houle, Inc. 343,879.00 Nodland Associates, Inc. 368,202.00 Progressive Contractors, Inc. 369,716.00 C. S. McCrossan, Inc. 382,006.00 North Central Underground, Inc. 393,536.00 Orfei & Sons, Inc. 417,973.08 Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. 457,224.00 G. L. Contracting Co. 465,591.00 Lametti & Sons 509,000.00 Northern Contracting Co. 519,484.80 AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Northdale Construction Co., Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Northdale Construction Co., Inc. of Plymouth, Minnesota, in the name of the City of Plymouth, for the construction of Northwest Interceptor Sewer (Project No. 902) in the amount of $336,612.00. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by . Councilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote in avor t ereo : Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
