RESOLUTION NO. 79-83
ORDERING PRELIMINARY STUDY ON FEASIBILITY OF CONSTRUCTING INTERCHANGE
AT CSAH 15 AND I-494
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth's Thoroughfare Guide Plan contemplates future
interchange access to I-494 at County Roads 15 and 6 and 49th Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has informed this Council that the Minnesota
Department of Transportation is willing to undertake a study of the
feasibility of constructing an interchange at the intersection of County
Road 15 and I-494, and
WHEREAS, such a study is necessary to determine the feasibility of and the
need for such an improvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the Minnesota Department of Transportation be and the same is
hereby requested to undertake the necessary preliminary engineering and design
studies to determine the feasibility of constructing an interchange in the City
of Plymouth at County Road 15 and I-494.
FURTHER that such a study be submitted to this Council for review as soon as
it is practical.
