The following members were present: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth The following mem Fe were a sent: Councilmember Selbold-- C ilm tuber Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and move its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-65 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS 16TH AVENUE - WATER TOWER CIRCLE TO HIGHWAY 55 PROJECT NO. 914 WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of the Council adopted December 19, 1978, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. with respect to the improvement of 16th Avenue from Water Tower Circle to Highway 55; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of bituminous surface with concrete curb and gutter, sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on January 29, 1979 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $188,265.00. 2. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 26th day of February, 1979, in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Blvd. at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hoyt and upon vote being taken thereon, the ' following voted in favorthereof:'Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
