Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a S ecial meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on Te
' 29th day of _January , 19 73 The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth
The follcwving members were absent: Councilmember Seibold
Councilmember Spaeth _ introduced the following Resolution and
move its adoption:
RESOLUTION 79- i 4
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE SITE PLAN FOR INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 284 AT
RIDGEMOUNT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL, 12000 RIDGEMOUNT AVENUE (79001)
WHEREAS, Independent School District No. 284 has requested approval of a condi-
tional use site plan for Ridgemount Junior High School, 12000 Ridgemount Avenue,
for a building addition and improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommended approval;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does, approve the request of Independent School
District No. 284 of a conditional use site plan for a 9,883 square feet addition to
gymnasium, enclosure of existing patio area, and an elevator addition, to be
located at Ridgemount Junior High School, 12000 Ridgemount Avenue, subject to the
following conditions:
1. Prior to permits, the plan shall be revised indicating an approved emergency
vehicle turn -around area at the termination of the fire lane; said area shall
serve as the cleared emergency evacuation space for persons exiting at the rear
of the building.
2. Prior to issuance of permits, the location and amount of existing parking shall
be detailed on the site plan.
3. All natural area as disturbed by construction and not otherwise improved shall
be sodded.
4. Fire protection measures shall be according to applicable codes, including the
construction of the fire lane.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Jnyt and upon vote being taken thereon, the
