HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-053CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the lrth day of _ January , 1979 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers Hot Neils Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: None Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 - 53 RATIFYING AN AMENDMENT TO THE HENNEPIN COUNTY CRIMINAL JUSTICE COORDINATING COUNCIL BYLAWS WHEREAS, the City is a member of the Hennepin County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council -and has approved the Council's operational bylaws, and WHEREAS, a letter dated December 15, 1978, from the co-chairmen of the commission recommends an amendment to Article IV, Section 3 of said bylaws, and WHEREAS, said amendment will simplify the process whereby municipal elected representatives are selected to serve on the Council, and WHEREAS, the proposed simplified selection procedures will benefit the Council and its members. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA th3t it should and hereby does ratify the proposed amendment to the Hennepin County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council operation bylaws, Article IV, Section 3. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the rollowing voted in aVor thareo . Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils. Seibold and Spaeth The following voted against orabstained- None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
