Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was a on the
15th day of January 1979 . The following members were
present: mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth
The following me ers were absent: None
Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 79-51
APPROVING 1979-81 LABOR CONTRACT
WITH INTERNATIONAL UNION OF OPERATING ENGINEERS,
LOCAL 49
WHEREAS, representatives of the City and International Union of Operating Eng4neers,
Local 49, have met to negotiate a labor contract for the bargaining unit represented
by International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 49, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager submitted to this City Council the proposed labor contract
which has been negotiated between the City and the Union and has recommended its
approval by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the labor contract negotiated between the City of Plymouth and
International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 49, for the period of January 1,
1979 through December 31, 1981 be and the same is hereby approved.
FURTHER that the Mayor and City Manager be authorized to execute the labor agreement
on behalf of the City of Plymouth.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
