HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-036CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a—t�9111 meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was he dl on the 15th day of January 19 79 The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, ng members were Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-36 AUTHORIZING VACATION OF A PORTION OF LARCH LANE NORTH OF 28TH AVENUE WHEREAS, a petition to vacate Larch Lane north of 28th Avenue has been received by the City Council from the property owner; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on January 15, 1979 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, 412.851, as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of January 15, 1979; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on January 15, 1979 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of Larch Lane north of 28th Avenue; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that that portion of Larch Lane north of 28th Avenue is not needed for a public street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The north 92.6 feet of Larch Lane as platted in Elmhurst Heights Addition is hereby vacated. 2. That said vacation shall not affect the authority of any person, corporation or municipality owning or controlling electric or telephone poles and lines, gas and sewer lines, or water pipes, mains and hydrants thereon or thereunder, to continue maintaining the same or to enter upon such way or portion thereof vacated to repair, replace, remove or other- wise attend thereto.
