HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1979-035CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on tie 15th day of January , 19 79 . The following members were present�Ffayor Runt, ounce mem ers Hoyt, 7eiGold and Spaeth The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved is adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-35 AUTHORIZING VACATION OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT IN GLEASON NORTH ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition to vacate a drainage easement in Gleason North Addition has been received by the City Council from the property owner;.and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on January 15, 1979 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, 412.851, as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of January 15, 1979; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on January 15, 1979 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to a drainage easement in Gleason North Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that that easement in Gleason North Addition is not needed for drainage purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. That part of the drainage easement on Lot 5, Block 1, Gleason North, according to the recorded plat thereof, as dedicated on said plat and embraced within the boundaries of Tracts A and C, Registered Land Survey No. 1493, files of Registrar of Titles, County of Hennepin is hereby vacated. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Seibold and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
