Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special Council meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
. 8th day of January , 1979 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Council members Hoyt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth
The foil owing mem ers were absent: None
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption;
RESOLUTION NO. 79-12
RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
LARCH LANE - 45TH TO 49TH AVrNUE
PROJECT 802
WHEREAS, pursuant to the adopted Capital Improvemer,_s 'rogram an Addendum has been
prepared to Project 802 by Bonestroo, Rosene, Ander�rk & Associates, Inc. with
respect to the improvement of Larch Lane from 45th `—nue to the Soo Line railroad,
and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes t!ie in,'- !lati-)n of bituminous surface with
concrete curb and gutter and all necessary apn;r::enances, and
WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council, on January 8, 1979
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in
accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for
all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chdpter 398, as amended) at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of $12.,805.00.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 20th
day of February, 1979, in the Council Chambrrs of the City Center building
at 3400 Plymouth Blvd. at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and
published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
. Councilmember Seibold and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in avorthereof:'Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils
Seibold and Spaeth
in reoiiowing voted against or abstained: �ronne
Whereupon the Resolution was declared dulypassed and adopted.
