AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN AERIAL PLATFORM FIRE APPARATUS
WHEREAS,
pursuant to Council approval, specifications were prepared and notice
of
bids was
advertised in
the legal newspaper
and,
WHEREAS,
pursuant to advertisement
and according to
the law,
bids were received,
opened and read aloud
and tabluated
on November 13,
1978 and,
WHEREAS,
the following

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COU"!CIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Manager are authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with Sutphen Corporation for the purchase of an aerial plat-
form unit as specified in Plymouth Bid No. 78-4 and in the amount
not to exceed $220,110.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders, the deposits made with their bids, except the deposit
of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until the contract has been signed.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Seibold , and upon vote beu"� �en therm tthhe

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passiZ difid adopted.
