Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t e 8th day of January 1979 . The following members were present: ayor unt, Council members Hot Neils, Seibold and-Spaeth 0 owing members were absent: None *R* RRR Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its�Toa pt -ion: RESOLUTION 79 -4 AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN AERIAL PLATFORM FIRE APPARATUS WHEREAS, pursuant to Council approval, specifications were prepared and notice of bids was advertised in the legal newspaper and, WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement and according to the law, bids were received, opened and read aloud and tabluated on November 13, 1978 and, WHEREAS, the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: AMERICAN Sutphen Mack MACK Calavar Calavar VENDOR LA FRANCE Corp. The Mayor and Manager are authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Sutphen Corporation for the purchase of an aerial plat- form unit as specified in Plymouth Bid No. 78-4 and in the amount not to exceed $220,110. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders, the deposits made with their bids, except the deposit of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until the contract has been signed.
