Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
18th day of December .'1978 . The following members were
present: Mayor unt, Councilmembers Hoyt Neils, Seibold and Spaeth
The following members were agsent: None
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-864
AWARD'NG BID FOR JANITORIAL SERVICE OF NEW CITY HALL
WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice and in conformance with State public bidding
law, the City did accept bid proposals on December 18, 1978 for the furnishing
of janitorial cleaning service for the year 1919 and
WHEREAS, the proposals received were as follows:
Commercial Building Maintenance Company $21,900.00
Triangle Maintenance Services 22,119.96
General Cleaning Corporation 33,265.92
WHEREAS, the Finance Director has analyzed the bid proposals and recommends
the bid be awarded to Commercial Building Maintenance Company, the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW, -THEREFORE, BE IT 2ESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does award the bid for janitorial services
for City Hall to Commercial Building Maintenance Company in the bid amount
of $21,900.00.
FURTHER that the Finance Director be directed to enter into a contract with
Commercial Building Maintenance Company for the provision of janitorial
services.
FURTHER that the City Clerk be directed to return all bid securities to those
companies other than the lowest responsible bidder with the exception of the
second lowest bidder.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pasjed and adopted.
